Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data MarkupAlertcollects, how we use it, and your choices. We're a small independent team and we keep data handling as simple as possible: no accounts, minimal data, short retention.

What we collect

• Content you submit. The text or files you paste or upload for analysis. Used once to produce your report, then deleted within 7 days.
• Payment information. Processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep the Stripe session ID and amount charged.
• Basic analytics. Pageviews, referrer, UTM parameters, rough IP-derived country, and tool-usage events — used to understand traffic and improve the product.

What we do not collect

• We do not require an account, email, or password.
• We do not sell your data.
• We do not use your submitted content to train AI models.

Sub-processors

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Anthropic — model inference for your analysis. Anthropic does not retain inputs for training.
• Vercel — hosting and request logs.

Your rights

You can request deletion of any data tied to your Stripe session by emailing us with the session ID. Because we don't collect accounts, most data is already anonymous.
